You own your life. You have power over yourself. You choose what kind of individual you want to be. The self-realized individual, the one who realizes their potential, is something to be reckoned with. We are all like little gods, masters of our domains, and we each have the power over our little universes that are our lives. What do you want to do? What do you want out of life? Where do you want to go? How much power have we been given to control our own lives? A lot. Although we must spend a large portion of our time on mundane matters, we all have a good amount of time to change, grow, and pursue what sparks our interests. Change what you can, leave the rest to the birds. Start running, start exercising. Eat kale! If you don’t like your job, leave it. You are not stuck, you are not trapped, no matter how it may seem. A life is a powerful thing. The individual is a cosmic web unto themselves, a neural net of inter-subjectivity; make good connections! You choose your friends, you choose how you spend your time. You choose what you spend your money on. Count yourself worthy; you are here, aren’t you?
We are always changing, let’s change for the better. Go somewhere. Do something! Do something of value. Find those higher values that come from God; love, forgiveness, tolerance, peace. Attain that which is worth attaining. Contribute to this great project that is life; put out there, something of value. Read often. Soak it all up. Go for a walk in nature, soak up the sun. Stop thinking. Stop over-thinking and just be. If you are going through a hard time, realize it is temporary. Choose your time wisely. Ten years will go by and you will wonder where it all went. Find your purpose, you are here for a reason. Learn to respect and accept all of God’s children. Let go of hate; let go of grudges. Be patient with others. We are all learning as we go, we are all in a state of becoming. Take your life back, and with purpose. You control the direction your life is headed. Remember, you only get so much time here. If you find yourself driving toward a cliff, screech those freakin’ brakes or veer off to the side. Don’t make the same mistake twice. Use hindsight and insight to grow in the way of wisdom. Work to improve every single day, at something. If you are always running around, slow down, stop even, and just breathe. Take stock of what you have, what you have been blessed with. You have been given much, repay that debt to God in your dealings with others. Remember, the person you like the least, is still your God in disguise; at the very least learn to tolerate. Spread love and positivity whenever you can. Spread God’s love, with others. Make a nice little splash of positive impact, and there will be great cosmic karmic ripples going in all directions; past, present, future. Near most important, find your passion, find something that makes you want to get up in the morning. Be good, and remember to have fun.
